- Apply a thick layer (2–3 mm) of anesthetic cream and rub evenly to maintain that thickness. Then cover with plastic wrap.
- The heat under the plastic wrap activates the cream in 45–60 minutes.
- The skin typically remains numb for 4–6 hours, depending on skin type and body location.
Notes:
For best results, avoid alcohol, beer, and milk for 24 hours before tattooing, or you may feel more pain. This cream is not sold in pharmacies.
